Editorial Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

We want every article to be useful, accurate and honest about what it knows. This is how we work.

What we publish

We publish explanations, techniques, ingredient guides and recipes about chocolate and pastry. We do not publish content whose only purpose is to attract search traffic, and we do not publish medical claims we cannot support.

How articles are made

  1. Each topic starts from a real question that bakers ask.
  2. A draft is prepared from our own baking experience and from reliable sources such as manufacturer technical documents and published food-science references.
  3. A person on our team reviews and edits every article before publication, checks temperatures, ratios and claims, and is responsible for the final text.
  4. Where it applies, we tell readers what we tested ourselves and what we are reporting from other sources.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with research, outlining or editing. AI-assisted text is never published without human review and fact-checking, and a person is accountable for everything on this site.

Updates and corrections

We revise articles when we learn something better, and each article shows its last-updated date. If you find an error, tell us. We correct it promptly and, for significant corrections, we note the change on the article.

Advertising and independence

Advertising, if shown, does not influence what we write. Sponsored or affiliate content will always be labeled.
